Grand Prix and gave great feedback. This tool works as advertised. User manual lacks some details, and in particular to describe the I / M status icons and their meanings. To use the internet to search search descrptiions retail as well as details of the driving cycle for your vehicle emmisions.
It seems that it is not possible to update the firmware on the disk. Function of the software update which corrects the reference to the website for updates. “Bin” for the file but that file does not exist. I searched in vain for several hours. In addition, serial ports are outdated – the scanner must have a USB interface for PC connection. I had to buy a USB-serial adapter separately, needless extra step …
I bought this scanner about twice a month, and a good job, how to hook the 1998 Toyota Camry V6, O2 sensor confusing because, according to Toyota, they should S1B1 S2b1 air and fuel mixture sensor to read between 2.3V to 2.5V, but the scanner to read 0.660 V. Finally, I understand one of these sensors died from ROM. Changes in the sensor and the car is fine. Can I connect the 2007 Toyota Sienna. Give me a second reading sheet factory. I think this scanner should include driving cycles for those works that support the model of the scanner, so you can check the outcome of repair. Back to the 1998 Camry, it still can not complete the full driving cycle, but drive 120 miles to date (I still flashing R / M EVAP and EGR). I have excellent and PO441. Function of real time data is very good because I have about 12 years experience as a mechanic and smog. I see the data, but I have to connect a voltmeter to measure. Firm hope that comes with a new product, which accumulates more and more to help establish a better system.

Great code reader
Tool works great. Going online and finding answers is great. One problem with the code reader is that the pc link cable that comes with it doesn't fit today's computers. You have to buy a 9 pin to USB cable. They are easy to find but it is just that you can't hook up to the pc until you have this. Other than that, this thing is awesome.

I bought this tool to clear the code on my two cars that had engine lights on so that I could smog them. Worked like a champ was easy. Works on VW Passat and Mitsubishi Eclipse.

Main Function Unusable without COM port available
Pretty cool tool altogether. Easy to use for reading and resetting codes. If you want to use your laptop to download and analyze data you are SOL if your laptop is anywhere near new. that's cause this puppy does not have a USB interface. You will need to buy a serial(RS-232) to USB converter and hope the driver is included. Sort of surprising in this day and age especially as portability is the essence of this device that you can't use it out of the box with a laptop!

I have owned this product for a while now and wanted to leave a review. I have to say that for the money this cost it is definately worth every cent. This thing does anything that the average home mechanic needs to do and then some. It is very easy to use right out of the box without any experience with it. The software that comes with it is pretty good too. I looked at several of these code readers from the most popular companies and I have to say that this one is by far the better one out of them all, the backlight for the display is genious no fumbling with a flashlight.

Even though this is a great tool is will not make you an istant mechanic. It can't fix stupid.

I bought it in flash Agreement Amazon. Now, when I used, I would like to pay full price. It is easy to install (instructions are concise and clear) and quick and quiet use, even on a cold day like today.

I wanted it in the car when I returned to the airport parking lot along the way: I went to a tire one night and was able to limp home just because a security guard helped me be a nice change. I think that inflation would allow me to reach the nearest service station, where the problem occurred again.

Has not worked well for me. In my Jeep GC has a hard alloy micro-crack and have 2 or 3 weeks to add some pressure, “about 15 different PCI. This product is not in a short time (3 minutes) is enough. I do not know how long will it take to inflate the tires to 0 . However, the term user guide is very poor. In case of doubt is better than the first call.
But I think it’s a better choice than anything else.
I wish I had bought several years ago. I used twice in the last month. Once I had a SUV tire completely flat. I7000 is inflated within ten minutes. You can not practice with him. And it once in a lifetime event. If this happens, it might be enough to see orange. I saw a light in the dark model. Not because I do not buy.
I ordered these for me and my husband as an instrument of security measures. We live near water and are afraid to handle the water and possibly trapped. Several months after buying the place to use my car accident when the driver and passengers were trapped and can not open the door. I could easily break a window and open the door. Literally, just touch the glass breaks.

Now with Service Pack 2 to give as Christmas gifts in the hope that they are not necessary.

I have a calibrated multimeter to work and use this at home. I have several meters of automatic control, but do not want to spend so much money. This works very well. Not the most accurate, but the 120VAC line was gone about 5 volts, which is only about 4% differance. Others I would recommend to anyone who wants to meter low cost and easy for your home.

We need a whole house electrical tests in general, simple and not too busy, as I used.

I found this product easy to use and allows detection of the problem. Great price for value! I would recommend to anyone. This applies to himself the first time I used my car!
You can not really compare with others in terms of use and price, I am not an expert. When I saw all the other options that do not, I could probably something more basic for less money. Regret, but I used this at least 5 different machines (mine and friends) to read error codes. It is very easy to use, connect it, give you the keys, hit a few buttons, reading the code (s). Then, the Google code to find out what it means and whether a car is easy to fix, or something you need to a. In just a few months I have saved more than the cost of read-only code, and most problems are easily repaired alone, save more money.

This unit is great! I used several times in vehicles, 2000-present. It saved me a few dollars along the way, are not dollars that I can help friends save money simply by being able to restore or code for defective goods are dispatched. I recommend it for the home mechanic.

I bought this unit for use in my office HVAC system refrigerant. Since the K-type port is crucial for me because I had to use a type of grain probe in copper pipes. This unit works well and is sufficiently clear for air conditioning service. My only complaint that the laser pointer seems to come round and have to switch manually. Moreover, I think that this thermometer is a great value for money. Plastic box is also nice.

Equus 3160 Innova ABS + Professional CanOBD2

I was tired of the cheap OBD readers and wanted something much better. I also wanted something I could read the ABS system with. The Innova 3160 does the trick. It is easy to use and understand. I like the way it prompts you in order to get what you are looking for. It has an excellent screen with the exact information you need to make repairs. It is obvious that they consulted with a repair tech when they designed it. I haven’t tried to up-date it from the computer as yet, but it has all the necessary items and information with it to do so. On the down side, it doesn’t have an explanation for all the manufacturer codes, especially the ABS codes. I found that I am going to their web site quite often to get the expanation. The web-site is very good and helpful though. I really like it. The worst thing is the CHEAP carrying case. The unit won’t even fit into it with the cable attached. That means that you are always removing and replacing the cable. I’m sure that isn’t good on the connection. Throw the case away and buy something better that you can keep the scanner, instruction book, and other materials in. It’s hard to believe a company like this would offer such a fine instrument and provide it in this case. Never-the-less, it’s a great scanner and well worth the money-just figure a little extra for another case!

Every time I want to fire up my old 71 Datsun (that’s Nissan for those of you younger than 30) 240 Z there’s a good chance that the battery has drained down and that I can’t start it! Looking around at car forums I read about this nifty little gadget….It’s like a battery trickle charger….sort of. Whereas it’s not recommended to keep a trickle charger hooked up all the time, this one has circuitry to limit the current and sense when the battery needs charging. It only charges at 1.25 amps which is easier on the battery.

I’ve had it on for a month now and it’s great. The first couple of days, the red light was on indicating charging. Since then it’s been on green and the car starts right up. I live in Houston where the heat and humidity can be just as brutal on batteries as the cold.

I highly recommend this “tender” for those that have cars that stay unused for long periods.

As other reviews have mentioned it comes with a set of adapters that allow you to permanently attach pigtails to the battery posts and then you can quickly connect the tender without having to use the alligator clips (also included).

For the price and free shipping you can’t go wrong!
