If you are looking for something exactly like sugar. BUY SUGAR. However, you will then deal with all of the negative effects of sugar least of which is the calories you will be taking in with every cup of coffee, or tea, or bowl of cereal etc. I love stevia supreme. I use it im my coffee 3 or 4 times each day ( ok, I agree I drink too much coffee) and it tastes great. Even when I add cream as well, the taste of the coffee is nicely sweetened with no negative flavor. To be honest, when I first started eating stevia, it took a bit to get used to as although it is sweet, it is a different kind of sweet then pure sugar. The main difference is that its simply stronger then sugar, so if you taste it directly it can be quite strong. However in drinks and cereal it really is great, and NO CALORIES. I have actually tried some of the Stevita liquid flavors as well, and they have been an awesome way to flavor my coffee from time to time, and I actually like the lemon flavor directly in water. (its more like a cake lemon flavor .. not citrus. Really delicious).

So, I have read allot of reviews here about how stevia doesnt taste like sugar, and so its horrible. But simply know that its NOT sugar, and give it a chance. After a few drinks with it, you will be hooked. Its great.

First off, let me say that I am a registered pharmacist. I do not have “high cholesterol.” With no medication, my total is in the upper 190s or low 200s. My LDL hovers between 122 - 131. The problem that I have is low HDL (the good cholesterol). With no medication my HDL is between 30 and 33.

I exercise frequently (tennis, gym), but I do not eat a lot of fish. My MD wanted me to start on Niacin, so I did. I decided that Benecol plus my Niacin would hopefully do enough. After 6 months of regular use of both, my HDL increase to 34 from 32 on my previous test. (For men, the HDL target is 40 or higher.) Thus my physician doubled my dose of niacin and I increased from 2 chews per day to 4 chews daily. After another 6 months, I was retested and my HDL was 35.

At this point my MD stopped the niacin and switched me to fenofibrate. At this point, I decided to stop the Benecol because of the marginal, if any, change in my HDL.

I do recommend them for their taste! They are great for that, but too expensive to eat if you don’t get any benefit out of it.

I have had high cholesterol since my 20’s but the ratios were good so my doctor didn’t recommend medication until age 45. Since I didn’t want to take medication, I went on a strict low cholesterol diet and exercised 5 days a week for 45 - 60 minutes a day and lost 16 pounds and am at my goal weight and my cholesterol gradually went down (10-12 points every 3 months#. After a year of stict low cholesterol diet and exercise, my doctor said I would not have to take the medication. My total cholesterol was 199. Diet alone would does not work for my cholesterol levels. As soon as I stopped exercising as much, the cholesterol levels went back up. Then I decided to try Benecol and am I glad I did. My total cholesterol went down to 176 in 3 months and the bad cholesterol was lower than ever and the good was even higher and all this without any exercise and after adding in back all the foods I had done without for years! I take 2 chews before lunch and 2 chews before dinner every day and that works best for me. When I tried to take 1 chew before lunch and 1 before dinner, my total cholesterol went back up quite a bit #in only 3 months) so I switched back to 2 chews before each meal where I’m eating food with cholesterol. I cannot say enough positive things about this product. The orange flavor is fantastic, however it is initally rather strong and unexpected. It completely masks the fish oil and has very little after-taste. The whole family takes one packet a day which includes my 5 year old son. He has been taking the Coromega product for about 2 years now and initally we masked it in yogurt. Now he takes it “straight” and enjoys the flavor; we consider it a morning treat. I ordered these two weeks ago, the very first day I took them my appetite did lessen,I did lose six pounds. I gained back ten pounds from lack of exercising and I wanted a quick fix. Everyone is different, if you take the pills and have severe side effects where you just do not feel like yourself, then DO NOT take them. I bought this item after reading other reviews on it and I am glad I did! It really does supress your hunger, I used to be hungry all the time and on lunch I would go out and get a large meal which was bad since I sit in a desk all day but with 1 of these pills a day, I no longer do that, now I eat just because I know that I NEED to have something in my stomach, but it isn’t that I was hungry. I also feel like I have more energy throughout the day. I don’t know what is in these but I dont really care because they have never made me sick. I don’t ever weigh myself so I can’t say whether I’m losing weight but I know that it is just a matter of time, I do feel lighter though, and my clothes is a lot more comfortable! I’ve had IBS-A for years, but it developed gradually so I didn’t take it seriously until it severely impacted my life. Fear of colonoscopy kept me from seeing a doctor and therefore suffering longer than necessary which was silly, because when I finally saw a doctor he immediately diagnosed IBS - no colonoscopy required.

My doctor suggested a gradual approach & recommended I start with fiber supplements (Citrucel to be exact) and a medication to help with sudden flare-ups. When that didn’t provide nearly as much relief as I had hoped for he said it might be as good as it gets, so I asked about other possible treatments he had mentioned during my initial consultation and only then did he recommend Align, siting it over other brands because of its ingredients.

Taking Align sporadically doesn’t work. I know, because it took me three weeks to get through a week’s worth of capsules. However, after taking it faithfully for two weeks as prescribed it is working wonders! I feel 97% like a normal person and I hope symptoms continue to improve with continued use.

I used this for 3 months before realizing Align was the culprit that made me more constipated than I’ve ever been in my entire life!! I’m a very active, clean eating, health conscious 37 yr old female and I am a huge advocate of probiotics as they’ve not only helped some of the symptoms of IBS (e.g. bloating, occasional constipation, gas, diarrhea, etc.) that I’ve had for about 15 yrs but I’ve noticed a HUGE improvement in my immune system. Since Align has coupons, commercials, great reviews & is even available at Costco I figured why not switch from my Swanson brand products that I order via the internet (one month supply is about $14 & they’ve worked for me for about the last year) to something I can get at almost any store if I run out? Here’s a big moral to the story is “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” thing >>> Well I was so miserable I had to resort to taking Miralax & STILL wasn’t feeling like I was emptying out completely (sorry to be so blunt but you since you’re reading reviews for this product I figure you can handle it LOL). I finally realized that the only thing I’d really changed in my diet recently was that I ADDED ALIGN. I stopped taking Align & within a few days I’m almost back to normal. Good Lord it was getting so bad I was about to buy an enema-yuck! Align may work for many people & that’s great but pay close attention to how it effects you so you don’t go through the misery I did. I have purchased this product before and lost about 10 lbs and did have most of the side effects but they were bearable as long as the product worked. I purchased this product again from a different seller (the price was alot cheaper) and started taking it. The caplets appear to only be half full and i’m not sure if they are supposed to be full or not. I am not having ANY of the side effects that I had before and haven’t lost a single pound ( I mean, even when i eat really greasy, fatty foods, there is nothing whereas before there was) I’m just not sure if the product is as its supposed to be. Be careful who you order your products from.

I really like these diet pills. Different that others I have tried in that you know it is getting rid of some of the fat that you intake. You still have to watch what you eat and get excercise for any diet plan to work. It’s not a miracle pill, but it helps.

I took this product for nine days and I had to visit the Emergency Room on the 10th day! I had NO side effects during the time that I took it until the night of the 9th day. I took this product even though I am a NURSE and I am knowledgeable enough to know it was not a good idea, but I wanted to lose 25 lbs and fell into temptation that almost cost me my life. I had (and still have even though about 5 weeks have passed) a hot, flushed feeling on my face with cold hands and body. In addition, I felt a terrible numbing feeling on my head that migrated and radiated to the back of my head and neck (I thought I was having a stroke), I felt my speech was significantly slower and my blood pressure increased slightly (I have never had problems with my BP and I am otherwise very healthy) and my pulse was borderline tachycardic (100 bpm). I am under the care of a doctor that has determined my labs are well within the normal range and after being prescribed an antihypertensive to take for several weeks my BP is fine. I still have the hot/warm weird feeling on my face and my doctor doesn’t know what it’s from.

I urge you not to take this or any online product because you don’t know what is in it. Losing a few pounds isn’t worth losing your life over! Some of the major life-threatening side effects are serotonin-syndrome, severe hypertension (really high blood pressure) because that can lead to heart failure and CVA, or stroke), it can trigger thyroid problems or other metabolic/hormonal problems to name a few. Not worth it!

I had this a year ago, bought from the same seller (japan 2 days..) i was amazing, i lose like 1 pound a day. However, it didn’t work that well this time, i had it for 2 weeks already only lost like 2 pounds.. i don’t know why, the box is the same but the wrapper was different. i get full really fast when i eat,, abut it has side effects I feel like my heart is beating like 100 times per second, which is my major concern. Because i don’t want to have a heart attack in my 30’s.
