Love the item, but the paint chipped in one area within a week of receiving this gift. It hasn’t spread, and I really don’t care as long as my drink stays in the bottle when it is sealed.

I am satisfied with this product. I purchased it for my 4-year-old daughter to take along on activities such as gymnastics and ballet - and just to have around for convenience. And that’s exactly what’s it’s been - very convenient. I have only one gripe: if you do not make sure that the cap is pushed down (hard) and snapped into place, it will leak when tipped over. If it is snapped into place, then it does not seem to leak. But the force it takes to push it down is more than my 4 year old can manage on her own, so it has caused some leaks. But since we only use this bottle for water, nothing horrible resulted from that. Overall, I would buy this product again and am more pleased than displeased. Also, my bottle is pink and the paint has not chipped at all as some other reviewers indicated it might.

After we had serious doubts wether or not our daughter`s aluminium bottle was safe we were looking for a stainless steel bottle for her. The Klean Kanteen Stainless Steel Bottle seems to be what we were looking for: It`s material does not seem to alter the taste of water or juice we put in there (unlike our old bottle), it has a very wide neck which makes it easy to clean and the lid closes tightly and doesn`t spill while it is in my daughter`s bag or backpack. She uses it every day in daycare and preschool and is really happy with it. I would highly recommend this product.

This bottle is neat, and does all that it says it does..without any special lining (like Sigg) but it does leave a slight metallic taste that is most noticeable when the bottle gets to the warmer temperatures. With that said, both Sigg and Klean are essentially the same, and you’ll surely be happy with either. The Klean’s mouth nozzle is a bigger than the Sigg’s which I think is easier to drink from.
Overall, go with whatever fits your budget, looks, and preference on mouth nozzle size. You’ll be pleased with the Klean, but I prefer the Sigg (when it’s on sale).
