When I purchased this laptop for my wife the price was $450. and what we received for the money was quite the bargain. My wife’s usage needs included web surfing, email, light gaming, and most importantly online video streaming. This machine does all that and more.

. True HD video system. The screen is 16/9 aspect ratio which means it’ll display a native wide screen format. (no black bars) Most Laptops are 16/10 aspect ratio which gives you the bars on top and bottom.
. The machine has HDMI out. This allows us stream internet tv and video to our plasma big screen if we both want to watch.
. Wireless N connectivity for up to 300kbs internet speeds.
. Onboard web cam is nice.
. Free upgrade to windows 7 is also a bonus that saves you >$100 compared to a separate purchase.

About the only negatives I can think of is that it would be nice to have a finger print reader for security and perhaps a video card that could handle 3D gaming. (If I were to own it, for my wife it’s perfect)
